I was quick to swap over to Windows 10, took over 12 hours, if I recall correctly. WAY too long. However I had to revert back to Windows 8 because I was running into bugs that would appear when my laptop would be waking up from sleep and also not being restarted like a typical computer...I never put mine to shut down.

Choose the option to skip updates (sometimes the option isn’t available, because Microsoft), I find the “Windows 10 Setup” app completely and entirely fails at almost anything...just like Windows 7 Update!
